What We're Looking For:

What You'll Do:

This is a Full-Time Hourly Supervisory Position

As a Retail Store Manager, you will lead, coach, and support your team in providing exceptional service and guidance to our customers. You'll oversee daily store operations, including business performance, product management, and ensuring your team has the tools they need to succeed. In this vital role, you'll represent the GNC brand by offering expert product knowledge and promoting our "Live Well" message.

Ensure products are merchandised according to GNC standards while prioritizing visibility and accessibility for customers.

Support the overall shopping experience, encompassing visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and customer relationships that drive sales and repeat business, e.g., MYGNC Rewards.

Aim to achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals while helping team members realize their sales potential.

Build strong teams and demonstrate leadership through ongoing feedback to associates regarding performance, as well as recruiting, hiring, and performance management.

Manage the opening, closing, and operation of the retail facility, which includes cash handling, inventory counting, and deposits according to GNC procedures.

Represent the organization at community fairs, conferences, meetings, and other public events to promote our mission and initiatives.

Environmental Factors & Working Schedule:

Must be able to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.

Frequent reaching, bending, and twisting—below the waist and above shoulder level.

Regular use of repetitive hand-to-finger motions and reaching with hands and arms.

Frequent lifting of up to twenty pounds, occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds; push/pull up to 20 lbs.

Ability to climb ladders, reach, and bend.

Work in temperatures ranging from 50 - 85 degrees, particularly in stock room areas.

Utilize a computer up to 60% of the time throughout the day.

Store Managers are expected to work five (5) days / forty (40) hours a week and adhere to the following guidelines:

Managers of mall and strip center stores must work at least two nights during the week until closing, one weekend night, and one additional night.

Strip center managers must also work a full shift on Saturdays.

Mall managers are expected to work during peak business days, including weekends (Saturday & Sunday).

Managers are expected to work at least one full Sunday per month.

Managers of downtown stores must work during the lunch hour of 11am to 2pm, Monday through Friday, and one night per week until closing if the store remains open.

Downtown store managers are not required to work Saturdays.

Managers are expected to work all major U.S. holidays during which the store is open.
