JOB SUMMARY: The IT Desktop Support Intern will assist with day-to-day IT operations, providing hands-on support for hardware, software, and user-related issues. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced, professional IT environment while supporting the technology needs of a major sports and entertainment organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

Assist with the setup of laptops, desktops, and workspace configurations for new employees.

Support IT asset management by collecting, auditing, and maintaining inventory of Texas Rangers IT equipment.

Provide frontline technical support to both in-office and remote staff.

Troubleshoot and support peripheral devices, including printers, ticket pedestals, handheld devices, and suite readers.

Collaborate with the IT Manager of Vendor Relations to support REV Entertainment and other external vendor partnerships.

Participate in after-hours support, including nights and weekends, as needed.

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
