Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Interior Designer to efficiently manage B&W layouts, Mini Designs, and preliminary CAD/Revit build-ups. This role involves collaborating with both internal teams and external partners, confidently handling various levels of full design projects, and supporting the training and development of Level I designers. The successful candidate will also contribute to updating training manuals, reviewing junior designers’ work, and actively engaging in the firm’s business development and marketing initiatives.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field

3 to 5 years of relevant design experience

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft PowerPoint

Familiarity with Twinmotion, Enscape, 3D Studio Max, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and CET Software is a plus

Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to conceptualize, design, and deliver commercial projects

Ability to interpret, understand, and develop construction drawings, documents, and specifications

Excellent graphic and visualization skills to clearly communicate design concepts

Actively working towards NCIDQ certification

Capable of managing project workloads independently with minimal supervision

Strong verbal and written communication skills with a business-oriented approach

Willingness to participate in business development and marketing activities

Ability to work in a hybrid environment (combination of remote and onsite work)

Specific Design Expectations:

Accurately produce B&W layouts, Mini Designs, and preliminary CAD/Revit build-ups with minimal errors

Coordinate with internal teams and external resources to ensure timely completion of projects

Confidently manage all levels of full design projects

Independently handle project intakes and client presentations

Mentor and assist Level I designers with training and project support

Help maintain and update PHDesign training manuals

Review and provide feedback on work produced by Level I designers

Maintain and manage PH 2D & 3D software blocks, families, and models
