Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee various projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of project management methodologies, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels. This role is essential in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with organizational goals.
Duties
Lead project planning sessions to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop comprehensive project schedules
Manage project budgets and ensure financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and collaboration.
Implement change management processes to adapt to evolving project requirements.
Utilize project portfolio management techniques to prioritize projects effectively.
Monitor project progress and performance
Negotiate contracts with vendors and stakeholders to secure necessary resources.
Apply Lean Six Sigma principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in project execution.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 7 years experience in Manufacturing Operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a Leadership role
Proven experience as a Project Manager in a relevant industry.
Strong knowledge of budgeting, project scheduling, and contract negotiation.
Familiarity with project management software
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for stakeholder engagement.
Certification in Project Management (PMP or similar) is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of change management principles and Lean Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
