As a member of the Project Controls team, you will be responsible for performing cost analysis, forecasting, change control, and reporting for projects budgeted in the tens of millions annually. You’ll work closely with a small team of analysts and schedulers, reporting to a senior Project Controls Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and compare monthly actuals to baseline budgets to identify variances
Monitor and maintain alignment between project plans and fiscal budgets
Develop and distribute periodic project controls analytics and reports
Support data validation and analysis across multiple systems and databases
Archive project controls documentation in accordance with team standards
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of budgets, labor charges, overhead, amortization, and cost allocations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Technical proficiency in handling large datasets from multiple sources
Experience in a PMO or project controls environment is a plus
Exposure to energy or utility projects is a bonus
While scheduling experience is helpful, this is a cost control–focused role and does not require project scheduling
