Professional Land Surveyor - Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage survey projects from concept through completion.
Supervise field crews and office technicians to ensure quality and timely deliverables.
Administer contracts and coordinate project timelines and budgets.
Conduct quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) on all assigned work.
Prepare boundary surveys, plats, legal descriptions, and topographic surveys.
Perform construction stakeout computations and prepare cut sheets.
Communicate effectively with clients, agencies, and internal teams.
Professional Land Surveyor - Requirements
Licensure: Maryland Professional Land Surveyor license required. Licenses in adjacent states or Washington, DC are a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in land surveying.
Professional Land Surveyor - Technical Skills:
Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Familiarity with survey field equipment and 3D scanning technology.
Experience with deed research across various jurisdictions.
MicroStation proficiency.
Experience with MSHA survey procedures and project delivery.
