We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong foundation in C#/.NET, modern architectural patterns, and frontend technologies like React/TypeScript. This role focuses on developing next-generation mission planning software that will directly impact the Department of Defense’s air dominance strategies for the next 30+ years.
Location: Berkeley, MO (on-site or hybrid options)
Full-time 1st Shift U.S. Citizenship Required
Security Clearance: Must be eligible for U.S. Secret Clearance
What You’ll Be Doing:
Build and maintain enterprise-grade mission planning software with a long-term impact on U.S. defense operations
Support full software lifecycle: architecture, development, testing, integration, and maintenance
Translate complex user requirements into scalable solutions using microservices, REST APIs, and modern SPA frameworks
Collaborate in a large-scale Agile team-of-teams environment across multiple engineering functions
Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues in production-grade systems
Contribute to process improvement, technical documentation, and version control best practices
What You Bring:
9+ years of hands-on software development experience
Expertise in C#, .NET, and version control systems (Git, Bitbucket)
Familiarity with modern design patterns including microservices, monorepos, RESTful architecture, and cloud-native practices
Strong front-end development skills in TypeScript, ReactJS, Redux
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in high-stakes, regulated environments
Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for Secret Security Clearance
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with military or mission planning systems
Familiarity with software testing frameworks, DevSecOps pipelines, or cloud integrations
Background working on projects requiring strict compliance or regulated defense protocols
