Information Technology Project Manager

Position: IT Project Manager (Contract)

Location: Cleveland, OH - Hybrid (3 days on-site per week)

Duration: 2-Year Contract

Compensation:

Hourly rate: $70 - $80, based on experience.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled IT Project Manager to lead the rollout of a cutting-edge Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) across multiple sites. This initiative will transform laboratory operations, leveraging a solution already adopted by industry leaders. The selected candidate will utilize Agile/Scrum methodologies to ensure the successful deployment of the LIMS across all targeted locations by 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the deployment and configuration of the LIMS across various technical and operational sites.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and an external vendor team to ensure smooth integration and functionality.

Manage project scope, timeline, and deliverables using Agile methodologies, conducting regular 2-3 week sprints.

Foster effective communication between in-house teams and external vendor representatives.

Ensure compliance with cloud-based frameworks and optimize the use of project management tools.

Maintain a focus on achieving strategic project outcomes and enhancing operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience as an IT Project Manager, with a preference for LIMS software implementation. Familiarity with Uncountable software is a strong advantage.

Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies; Scrum certification is a plus.

Hands-on experience with cloud technologies and project management tools like Microsoft Planner and Azure DevOps.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Availability for a hybrid work model, with three days per week on-site in Cleveland, OH.

Proven ability to manage multi-site deployments and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Strategic mindset with the capability to drive complex projects to successful completion.
