We are seeking a UX Designer to join our Institutional Consulting team, focusing on tools that empower Financial Advisors to assist institutional clients—such as pension funds, endowments, corporations, and government entities. The role involves iterative design work tailored to portfolio structuring, risk management, asset allocation, and achieving financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product managers to define vision, set UX quality standards, and continuously improve design outcomes
Design elegant, user-centered solutions that integrate into a large-scale Wealth Management ecosystem
Work closely with researchers to translate qualitative and quantitative data into clear and effective user interfaces
Choose appropriate design patterns and articulate rationale
Deliver and present design assets (sketches, wireframes, flows, and prototypes) confidently to stakeholders
Actively contribute to complex cross-functional teams including product, business, and engineering
Take ownership of design direction for undefined or ambiguous projects
Champion design thinking and user experience best practices across the organization
Required Experience & Skills:
5–7 years of UX design experience with a portfolio demonstrating user-centered design solutions that met business goals
Strong strategic, technical, and interpersonal UX skills
Bachelor's degree in design or related field (Master’s a plus)
Fluency in Figma
Experience mentoring or collaborating with designers of varying skill levels
Ability to handle multiple priorities and tight timelines
Experience navigating ambiguity and setting direction on complex projects
Proven track record of incorporating research, data, and testing into design iterations
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience designing for financial services or investment platforms
Passion for evangelizing UX and influencing large organizations through design thinking
***Pay Rate- $80-$83/hour
