Position Overview:
The Pricing Analyst supports margin optimization through pricing execution and promotional analysis. Responsible for managing product pricing and trade activity across multiple customer types, this role delivers key insights through financial modeling, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. Strong analytical skills, process orientation, and the ability to work across departments are essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain pricing structures and ensure consistency across customer segments.
Analyze the financial impact of discounts, offers, and promotional activity.
Build models to support pricing decisions and margin analysis.
Track and record promotional activity to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate with internal teams to align on pricing inputs and strategies.
Develop tools and reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
Contribute to pricing strategy discussions by presenting data-backed recommendations.
Qualifications:
2–5 years of experience in a pricing, finance, or business analysis role.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and data tools.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Effective communication skills with the ability to explain findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Bachelor’s degree in a business, finance, or quantitative field.
Familiarity with SQL or data visualization tools is a plus.
Salary Range: $70k - $90k
