About the Role:
The Area Manager will oversee multiple multifamily properties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, high occupancy rates, strong team performance, and superior customer service. This role is perfect for a motivated property management professional with strong leadership, problem-solving, and operational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support Property Managers & On-Site staff across portfolio
Drive occupancy, leasing performance, and resident satisfaction
Ensure timely completion of maintenance and compliance tasks
Analyze property performance reports (occupancy, delinquencies, expenses, etc.)
Mentor and develop on-site teams through regular coaching and performance reviews
Manage budgets, control costs, and oversee capital improvement projects
Handle escalated resident concerns with professionalism and urgency
Ensure compliance with tenancy regulations and company policies
Skills & Experience Required:
Minimum 10 years’ experience in residential property management or multi-site management
Proven leadership and team development skills
Strong knowledge of leasing, property operations, and rent collections
Excellent communication, time management, and decision-making ability
Intermediate to advanced computer literacy (e.g. Property Management Software, MS Office)
Driver’s license and reliable transport (travel between sites required)
