Senior Financial Analyst

Position Overview:

A Healthcare company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support its Financial Planning and Analysis function. This individual will play a critical role in guiding strategic financial decisions, evaluating business performance, and identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced analyst to work cross-functionally with operations, accounting, and IT, helping to shape the financial direction of a mission-driven company. *This person will only need to be in office a couple of times a month, so you will be mostly remote.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the preparation of annual budgets and ad hoc forecasts.

Analyze monthly financial results and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing actionable insights to senior leadership.

Monitor actual performance against budget, identifying and explaining variances.

Develop and maintain financial models used for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning.

Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure alignment on financial goals and data accuracy.

Manage special projects and respond to ad hoc financial data requests as needed.

Qualifications:

BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related finance role.

Experience with FP&A tools (e.g., Planful, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan) preferred.

Familiarity with business intelligence tools like Power BI is a plus.

Comfortable operating in a hybrid or office-based environment.
