About the Role
Assist Human Resources Manager in managing daily HR department functions for multi-state facilities including recruiting, payroll, benefits, LOA, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Responsibilities
Facilitate and track compliance documents including safety, anti-harassment, and other job training required of Hadco employees.
Assist with recruiting and interviewing for open positions.
Conduct onboarding and orientation for new hires.
Process background checks and drug screens through current providers for all new hires.
Verify and maintain I-9 documentation, ensuring compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification.
Create and maintain personnel files for new and existing personnel.
Participate in the development of department goals, objectives, and systems.
Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
Maintain compliance with federal and multi-state employment laws and regulations.
Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, LOA, disciplinary matters, performance, talent management, employee engagement, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent experience, PHR Certification preferred.
Required Skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Knowledge of federal and multi-state labor laws.
Experience in benefit administration, workers compensation, and performance management.
Experience in recruiting, on-boarding, and training employees.
Employee relations and conflict management experience.
Experience in coaching and counseling management.
