Job Title: ServiceNow Solution Architect

Location: Dallas, Texas

Experience Level: 7+ Years

Employment Type: Contract

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Solution Architect with a strong background in understanding customer business requirements and translating them into scalable, technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ServiceNow solution design, development methodologies, and implementation best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand customer business needs and translate them into ServiceNow technical solutions.

Design scalable, efficient solutions on the ServiceNow platform tailored to client requirements.

Define scope, estimate effort, and suggest optimal development approaches.

Create detailed user stories and work breakdown structures to guide technical teams.

Track deliverables and report project progress to internal and external stakeholders.

Manage escalations effectively within the team and with clients.

Conduct requirement gathering and produce key deliverables (LLD, training docs, etc.).

Lead technical design reviews and facilitate end-user training sessions.

Configure and customize ITSM modules: Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Service Catalog, Service Portal, Asset Management, and User Setup.

Develop integrations using REST/SOAP, JavaScript, and other ServiceNow development practices.

Set up and manage CMDB, Asset Management, and Software Distribution Orchestration.

Implement and manage ServiceNow ITBM modules: Project, Portfolio, Demand, Resource, and Finance.

Design and implement custom applications, third-party integrations, reports, and dashboards.

Set up Performance Analytics and Reporting for various business needs.

Apply ServiceNow implementation best practices to ensure quality and compliance.

Lead and manage global teams across project lifecycles.

Oversee project delivery including planning, execution, contract understanding, and stakeholder coordination.

Handle ServiceNow upgrades, cloning activities, and engage with HI support as needed.

Configure integrations (LDAP/SSO, Email, Chat, etc.) and ensure domain separation and data segregation where required.

Required Skills & Experience:

7+ years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Proven leadership and project management capabilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Deep understanding of ServiceNow upgrade processes and support engagement.

Experience with Domain Separation and secure data handling.

Certifications (Preferred):

ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)

Certified Technical Architect (CTA)

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

CIS – HRSD

ITIL v3 Foundation

Nice to Have:

Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
