Software Engineer (consultant) Hedge Fund

This firm is a top global hedge fund and is known as one of the oldest hedge funds under continuous management having achieved a long-performance record of consistent returns.

You'll be working in a client facing role to support the firms middle office stakeholders and provide tremendous value to individuals in the treasury and operations department. Your involvement will be crucial in developing solutions that facilitate seamless management of their trading lifecycle and after trade execution. It's a unique role in the sense that you'll work directly with the stakeholders to understand what their problems or needs are, and then actually go and build them solutions.

You'll leverage a full stack of technologies to implement innovative solutions in C# and .Net and rely heavily on various SQL language dialects and principles of relational design. You'll also work quite a bit with Python and have a chance to work on some front-end deliverables as well. Bonus points if you have a financial background.

This is a long-term contract engagement that'll require you to work in their midtown manhattan headquarters 3x per week (M/F is WFH).
