Experience of the Right Candidate:
Proven background in technical writing with a strong grasp of cloud infrastructure concepts.
Experience designing documentation frameworks that support both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to translate complex technical topics into consumable content for personas ranging from developers to executives.
Hands-on experience working with Confluence, Markdown, Git repositories, and API documentation (Swagger or similar).
Strong consultative skills—comfortable navigating high-level discussions with senior engineers, architects, and stakeholders with varying communication styles and priorities.
Previous work in cross-functional environments—ideally spanning infrastructure, SRE, DevOps, and security.
Experience standardizing documentation across teams or organizations.
Familiarity with creating indexes, tagging metadata, and organizing supplemental content for easy navigation.
Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:
Design and implement knowledge management frameworks across the cloud engineering organization.
Develop and maintain a centralized knowledge base within Confluence to support application team onboarding and self-service.
Collaborate with cloud engineers, SREs, and governance teams to document onboarding standards, operational playbooks, and cross-functional procedures.
Consume existing documentation (API references, Markdown files, Git repositories) to consolidate and structure information effectively.
Establish documentation standards, templates, and publishing patterns to ensure consistency and scalability.
Translate technical infrastructure and cloud-native concepts into clear, actionable documentation tailored to multiple stakeholder groups.
Support the operational readiness of application teams by ensuring all documentation meets the definition of done.
Facilitate knowledge transfer (KT) efforts by building organized indexes and linking supplemental materials.
Enable continuous improvement through feedback loops integrated into documentation platforms and support channels.
