A new opportunity is available for a Principal Engineer with deep expertise in Workday Financials to play a key leadership role in developing and optimizing enterprise financial systems. This role will drive system architecture, lead solution delivery, and provide mentorship within a collaborative, agile technology team.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of Workday Financials solutions across areas such as Procurement and Revenue Management
Oversee configuration and customization of Workday applications, integrations, reports, and calculated fields
Guide moderately to complex projects from concept to deployment, including estimation, planning, and delivery
Develop and review technical designs, ensuring they align with best practices and business needs
Provide mentorship and technical direction to junior team members
Debug and resolve complex integration and application issues
Maintain awareness of Workday platform enhancements and industry best practices, applying insights to drive continuous improvement
Partner cross-functionally with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and vendors to deliver enterprise solutions
Lead quality assurance efforts and ensure all deliverables meet performance, security, and functionality standards
Manage ongoing production support and enhancements in a timely, business-focused manner
Contribute to strategic discussions around system roadmap, demand planning, and capability evolution
Minimum Qualifications:
7+ years of experience with Workday Financials, including configuration, customization, and integration across functional areas such as Procurement and Revenue Management
Extensive hands-on experience with Workday integration types: EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Workday Studio
Strong proficiency in creating custom Workday reports and calculated fields
7+ years experience integrating Workday with third-party service vendors
7+ years of accounting systems development and support experience, including close alignment with Corporate Accounting processes
3+ years experience mentoring and guiding engineering team members
Proven ability to design efficient, scalable application architectures and troubleshoot complex systems
3+ years working in both agile and waterfall environments
Strong understanding of SDLC activities and how to deliver high-quality software on schedule
3+ years working with agile tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence
5+ years using SharePoint for document management and collaboration
Experience with IT ticketing platforms like ServiceNow, Quality Center, or JIRA
Strong debugging skills, technical acumen, and a self-directed, results-oriented approach
3+ years of experience working with third-party vendors and contributing to roadmap and strategy planning
5+ years collaborating in distributed, cross-functional teams
Proficiency in project management tools like Microsoft Project, and strong organizational and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
