Hardware Validation Automation Engineer (Post-Silicon Validation) :
Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive validation plans, test cases, and automation toolsets for post-silicon validation, targeting silicon diagnostics, performance analysis, and bare-metal to data center-level deployments.
Design and implement automation frameworks and debug tools to accelerate silicon bring-up and issue triage.
Analyze production system use cases to align validation efforts with real-world performance and reliability expectations.
Lead end-to-end post-silicon validation activities, including strategy definition, planning, execution, and enablement, ensuring timely and successful product delivery.
Debug, root cause, and resolve silicon-related issues throughout the product lifecycle, collaborating across hardware, software, and system teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years of experience across ASIC development cycles, including design, bring-up, and validation.
Extensive experience in silicon debug, issue isolation, and analytics.
Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or similar programming languages, with strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders involved in ASIC and system development.
Hands-on experience in post-silicon validation and system-level testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with emulation/FPGA platforms for pre- and post-silicon validation enablement.
Familiarity with high-speed interfaces and domains such as PCIe, networking, flash storage, memory subsystems (DDR4/5, LPDDR, HBM), CPUs, and GPUs.
Solid understanding of embedded systems and common bus protocols (I2C, SPI, USB, PCIe).
Experience with Linux-based systems and server hardware management.
