Job Title: Product Development and Merchandising Associate

Location: Little Falls, NJ (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite)

Salary Range: $50,000 – $60,000

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Product Development and Merchandising Associate to join our growing team. This is a newly created role offering an exciting opportunity to support product development, merchandising, and data-driven decision-making across departments. The ideal candidate will bring strong Excel skills, experience in merchandising or product development, and an analytical mindset to help drive our product strategy forward.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct competitive research and pricing analysis to support product positioning

Pull and maintain monthly item sales reports from Acumatica; assist with ad hoc reporting as needed

Update and track competitor pricing and promotional activity using Wiser Sales tools

Complete and maintain product development sheets for both new and existing items

Review product copy for accuracy and consistency on site

Order and track comp samples for review and benchmarking

Assist in cross-functional collaboration with teams including Design & Engineering, Production, Marketing, and Sales

Participate in quarterly competitive reviews and assist with comp research for special projects

Ensure data accuracy and consistency across development tools and reporting

Support general merchandising and administrative tasks as needed

Required Qualifications:

1–2 years of experience in a merchandising, product development, or analytical support role

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data transformation)

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills

Experience working with physical product samples and eCommerce environments preferred

Familiarity with data scraping tools like Wiser Sales and ERP systems like Acumatica is a plus
