Job Description:

This is a full-time Sr. Product Test Development Engineer position with Cisco, sitting in San Jose, CA. In this position you will work cross functionally with test engineers, product engineers and NPI teams to create ASIC chips. In the day to day you will focus on the ATE test bring-up including defining test methodologies, coverage metrics, and corner conditions. You will support the pattern generation/debugging, identify gaps in test coverage, characterize and release the test program to production. You will be testing for quality issues on a high volume of product to drive at failure analysis containments, yield improvement, and root cause corrective actions. On a daily basis you will collaborate with design, SoC, DFT, reliability, Quality, Failure Analysis and manufacturing teams. A strong member of the team will have experience in development and debug to provide insights to production and DFT.

Required Skills and Experience:

8+ years of experience in SoC test systems and SOC/VLSI/bring-up, production, characterization, and test engineering

8+ years of experience working with SoC or ASIC chips performing hands on testing silicon validation

Strong experience working with the Advantest 93000 tester for characterization and product testing with the SmarTest 8 software

Strong experience with SmarTest 8

Experience with Debugging and Failure Analysis

Experience with any of the following programming languages in C, C++ Java, PERL, or Python

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience

Test Cell integration

JMP
