Type: Full-Time Hybrid (must be local to Columbus- and willing to go onsite 3 days a week)

Central Point Partners, a rapidly growing IT staffing and solutions firm, is looking to hire two Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to join our Columbus office. If you're hungry to break into sales, work in a fast-paced environment, and grow into a client-facing role, this is your opportunity.

As an SDR, you will be the first point of contact with potential clients. Your goal: open doors, start conversations, and help drive revenue growth by booking qualified meetings for our sales team.

What You'll Do

Research, identify, and prospect new client leads across targeted industries (finance, healthcare, tech, utilities, etc.)

Drive top-of-the-funnel lead generation for account executives and sales managers

Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM

Consistently achieve monthly quota of qualified opportunities

Conduct outbound outreach through cold calls, personalized emails, LinkedIn, and other social platforms

Qualify prospects and schedule discovery calls and meetings for Account Executives

Collaborate with recruiters to understand active candidates and marketable skill sets

Stay up to date with market trends, client hiring needs, and staffing industry best practices

Support the sales team with account follow-ups, meeting preparation, and proposal generation

Assist with campaign development and content ideas to support outbound initiatives

Partner with marketing to refine messaging and tailor outreach strategies

Continuously improve prospecting and objection-handling skills through coaching and feedback

What We're Looking For

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Confident, resilient, and not afraid of rejection

Natural curiosity and a desire to understand client pain points and business needs

Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage time effectively

Experience in sales, retail, customer service, or recruiting is a plus, but not required

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM tools is a bonus

A team player who's excited to contribute to a growing company

Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
