Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

This is a remote position.

Paradigm is searching for a Senior Software Engineer to support our client, a global leader in the legal industry. This position entails developing applications using ASP.NET MVC, AngularJS, ReactJS, Web Api and SQL Server for high-volume mission critical use. It may support the modernization of some applications using MS Power Platform. The role will primarily focus on hands-on coding of software projects using the technologies listed below. They will act as a resource for other software engineers and inform the conversation between the engineering manager and product owners, as well as the business team. The candidate for this position will bring a proven ability to organize workload and priorities, complete tasks on time and to work effectively in a team environment.

Type: 1 year contract

Location: Remote Must be located 50 miles from either Beaverton, OR or Phoenix, AZ

As a Senior Software Engineer you will:

Use Agile Scrum SDLC methodologies in the full life cycle software development process, including requirements analysis, software design, prototyping, programming, debugging and testing of system software production applications.

Participate in technical design and implementation. Proactively raise issues if specification will lead to quality, system performance, or architectural issues in product.

Collaborate with fellow developers in areas of expertise as well as members of business unit.

Demonstrate self-directed and proactive approach to solving problems.

Develop, debug and deliver enterprise applications.

Demonstrate self-directed and proactive approach to solving problems.

Proactively mentor fellow developers in areas of expertise.

Requirements

Our skills and experience wish list includes:

5+ years of experience developing software in C# /.NET

3+ years of experience developing web applications using ASP.NET, with experience using MVC a plus.

Experience using popular JavaScript frameworks, including React and Angular JS.

Experience writing multi-tier components for high volume systems

Experience with MS Power Platform and Canvas apps a plus

Experience with SQL Server, with Entity Framework experience a plus.

Experience with ASP.NET Web Api a plus.

Experience with load balancing technologies a plus

Strong oral and written communications skills

Outstanding troubleshooting and technical support skills.
