Position Summary
We are seeking a Project Superintendent to lead construction operations for public works and federal projects across Southern and Central California. This is a traveling position for an experienced field leader with strong coordination skills and a hands-on approach. Travel expenses including per diem, lodging, and car allowance are fully covered.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise field operations to ensure project delivery aligns with quality, safety, and schedule expectations
Coordinate daily tasks of subcontractors, vendors, laborers, and inspectors
Interpret project drawings, specifications, and enforce safety protocols
Oversee jobsite layout, phasing, and resource allocation
Conduct and document daily safety meetings in compliance with OSHA standards
Maintain accurate project logs, daily reports, and labor tracking
Facilitate on-site meetings with project teams, owners, and stakeholders
Support the project manager with material procurement, scheduling, and budget tracking
Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, consultants, and field teams
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman in construction
Prior experience with public works or federal government construction projects required
Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities
Proven knowledge of construction plans, contract documents, and regulatory codes
Familiar with OSHA standards and jobsite safety protocols
Must be open to frequent travel across SCAL and Central CA
Valid driver’s license required
