The Associate Vice President of Information Technology provides leadership and oversight across the four core areas of the IT department: End User Support, Enterprise Systems, Networking and Infrastructure, and Security, Construction, and Compliance. The Associate VP is responsible for the strategic management and operation of the College's ERP system and related enterprise applications, as well as the development and implementation of service management processes. The Associate VP also offers high-level strategic support to college administration and works to ensure a positive working culture within the four divisions that they oversee.Required Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science and four years of experience in area of assignment, including 3 years of supervisory experience, or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge and experience in Internet protocols, systems analysis and design programming languages & development tools.
Ability to build a positive internal culture focused on growth and professional development.
Experience in cybersecurity (implementing CIS Controls, NIST Cybersecurity Framework)
An understanding of procurement and the ability to manage procurement and contracts for all IT purchases.
Knowledge in fundamentals of systems analysis, functional configuration, and testing.
Experience managing cloud computing environments (such as Azure, AWS, etc.)
Ability to manage a team of professionals and its projects.
Ability to communicate effective, gain credibility and develop productive working relationships with employees at all levels.
Ability to approach situations with energy and enthusiasm.
