Description:

At Lytx, you’ll lead strategic initiatives that redefine End User Computing (EUC) as a catalyst for innovation, security, and experience. As a Senior Staff Desktop Engineer, you’ll architect and drive enterprise-wide endpoint, virtual desktop, and mobile device strategies that span the full lifecycle—from deployment to retirement. You’ll enable scalable, secure, and efficient IT operations—while strategically advancing the Digital Employee Experience (DEX) as a differentiator in productivity, satisfaction, and operational resilience.

This high-impact role requires advanced technical expertise, operational foresight, and strong cross-functional collaboration. You will guide engineering standards, mentor others, and serve as a subject matter expert across domains such as device management, configuration compliance, and endpoint security.

You’ll Get To:

Architect and lead the evolution of enterprise EUC strategies, including cloud-first deployment models, zero-touch provisioning, and intelligent automation through platforms like Microsoft Intune, SCCM, JAMF, and Autopilot.

Develop scalable, policy-driven automation frameworks for device provisioning, compliance enforcement, AI-enhanced monitoring, and self-healing endpoint recovery.

Drive enterprise-wide endpoint strategy, overseeing the technical roadmap for Windows, macOS, virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), and mobile device management (MDM).

Lead cross-functional initiatives around software packaging, lifecycle governance, and identity access management (IAM) integrations that reduce risk and improve agility.

Partner with Service Desk, Infrastructure, and Employee Experience teams to modernize endpoint services that directly enhance the Digital Employee Experience (DEX) - streamlining onboarding, reducing friction, and enabling seamless productivity across devices and locations.

Implement proactive security measures, including vulnerability management, device health insights, and patch automation, aligned with InfoSec policies and audit frameworks.

Mentor junior engineers and peers, contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement through knowledge sharing and standards development.

Perform other duties, as assigned.

What You Need:

Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise desktop engineering, endpoint management, or digital workplace solutions.

Proven mastery in Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune, Autopilot, SCCM), JAMF, VDI, MDM, and modern collaboration platforms.

Deep experience with identity and access controls, configuration management, and enterprise policy enforcement (e.g., AD, Azure AD, GPOs, CIS Benchmarks).

Strong ability to analyze, design, and implement secure, resilient, and scalable EUC architectures across global teams.

Demonstrated success leading high-impact projects across functions, with a strong grasp of service management integration (e.g., ServiceNow workflows).

Excellent communication skills and a track record of influencing stakeholders across IT, security, compliance, and business operations.
