SENIOR JAVA FULL STACK ENGINEER

Senior Java Full Stack Engineer React/Microservices (Contingent-to-Hire) Duration : long term contract Location: Chandler, AZ (Hybrid: 3 days/week onsite) Must-Have Requirements: Expert-level Java development with Spring Boot Proficiency with Kafka for distributed messaging and event-driven design Hands-on experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases Strong background in microservices architecture and implementation Working knowledge of React.js (UI makes up approximately 15% of the work) Willing and able to be onsite in Chandler, AZ three days per week Available for a minimum 12-month contract-to-hire engagement (W2 strongly preferred) Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience modernizing underwriting or legacy banking applications Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployment strategies Understanding of security best practices for services and APIs Prior work in regulated or financial services environments Ideal Candidate Profile: A senior-level Java backend developer with strong microservices expertise and exposure to React front-end components.

Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, communicating directly with the hiring manager, and contributing to a modernization effort within a core Wells Fargo technology function.
