Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and independent Complex Fitter and Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components based on blueprints, models, and work orders using various welding techniques. This position requires a self-starter who can confidently interpret technical documents and work with minimal supervision to deliver high-quality results.
Shift: Monday to Friday
Hours: 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Pay: $25-27 per hour
Type: Direct Hire / Full-Time employment
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
Set up and operate welding equipment and select appropriate welding methods.
Prepare and align metal parts for welding.
Perform manual or semi-automatic welding in multiple positions (flat, vertical, and horizontal, overhead).
Monitor and adjust the welding process to maintain quality and prevent defects.
Inspect welds to ensure compliance with specifications.
Conduct post-weld finishing including cleaning, grinding, and polishing.
Maintain welding tools and equipment.
Follow all workplace safety procedures.
Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and project team members.

Qualifications
Certification in welding and fitting is preferred.
Proficiency in MIG welding and ability to set up projects independently.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Knowledge and adherence to safety protocols.
