The State of Connecticut Judicial Branch is seeking two Program Manager I for the Office of Victim Services. One of the positions will be assigned to the Fiscal Services Unit and the other will be assigned to the Victim Services Unit. The successful candidates will be responsible for developing and managing programs, policies, procedures and data critical to a division's operation.

For the Fiscal Services Unit, preference will be given to those candidates who possess experience administering federal grants, including performing financial analysis, handling contracting, monitoring grants, and working with state and federal auditors.

For the Victim Services Unit, preference will be given to those candidates who possess considerable knowledge of the criminal justice system and relevant state and federal laws, as well as experience providing services to crime victims.

Salary Range: $110,415 - $145,756/year - plus State of Connecticut benefits.

New employees begin at the minimum. The starting salary for existing state employees may be higher than the minimum, in accordance with existing Judicial Branch policy.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

General Experience: Nine years of professional experience in a broad range of functions related to assigned areas, including some responsibility for planning, research and statistical analysis, organizational analysis, or a related field.

Substitutions Allowed: 1) College training may be substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen semester hours equaling one-half year of experience to a maximum of four years for a Bachelor's degree. 2) A law degree or a master's degree in a related field may be substituted for one additional year of the General Experience.

Special Requirements: Incumbents may be required to travel in the course of their daily work.
