Position Summary
JOB SUMMARY: The Systems Administrator – Integration assists with the implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the college portal, internal websites, as well as associated authentication mechanisms and data integrations. This position will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues with the account creation and on-boarding processes. In addition to these duties, the Systems Administrator – Integration will be required to understand, support, and recommend appropriate levels of user access for college Enterprise Resource Planning, data systems, and Entra/Active Directory Environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
DUTIES:
Provides maintenance and support for college databases
Provides troubleshooting and support for the Banner Document Management System
Supports credit card processing and integration with the Enterprise Resource Planning system
Maintain Windows and Linux servers for internal websites
Provides maintenance and troubleshooting for the college portal
Assists with internal and public certificates on college sites and systems
Provides support for SMTP relay for on-prem devices
Determines security group membership for Banner users
Supports and troubleshoots issues with on-boarding process including Rapid Identity and the creation of user accounts and email accounts
Assists with monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting Entra/Office 365 accounts, and shared mailboxes
Maintains the local Active Directory and associated group policies
Support for Microsoft Teams
Assists with institutional reporting, including maintaining a working knowledge of the college's data structure and an understanding of SQL
Collaborates with CIO, IT Director, and other college administrators to develop guidelines for protection of employee privacy; ensures guidelines are consistent with college business and security needs
Is available for occasional evening and weekend technical computer support
Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Two (2) years or equivalent of postsecondary education from an approved U.S. Department of Education accredited institution with a minimum of 36 semester hours in information systems, computer science, business administration or related required
Four (4) years of experience in a related position to include technical support required
Experience with Windows/Linux server operating systems required
Ability to integrate websites with internal and external data sources as well as authentication mechanisms required
Experience with Multifactor Authentication required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
A solid understanding of SQL preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 account administration preferred
Experience with Active Directory preferred

SALARY: Salary Schedule, C3- ($65,000-$85,000). Salary will be based on VERIFIED education and years of VERIFIED related experience that is stated on the initial job application only.

Salary Calculation: For all positions on all Salary Schedules, the salary amount for the selected applicant is determined by step placement on the applicable schedule. Step placement is dependent upon the following: (a) all work experience in public education in Alabama and (b) all other work experience outside of public education in Alabama that, in the sole judgment of the College, directly relates to the requirements of the position. The applicant selected for the position must provide written verification(s) of this work experience within the time provided herein if such experience is to be considered in determining their initial step place on the Salary Schedule.
Format for Work Experience Verifications: Work experience verifications should be in the form of verification letters from employers and must include complete employment dates, job title(s), job duties, and an indication whether such employment was full-time or part-time, and if part-time, the average number of hours worked each week. The letters should be on official letterhead and contain an authorized personnel signature. The College’s official employment verification form is also acceptable and is available upon request.
