The Unified Math Department has one (1) full-time (1.0 FTE), 11-month Central Office Resource Teacher vacancy.

The Central Office Resource Teacher will work with our Math Leadership team to support elementary and secondary mathematics. This work will include rolling out the newly district-adopted TK-5 math curriculum, supporting school educators in the implementation of high-quality curriculum and evidence-based instructional strategies, helping scale our vision to modernize TK-12 mathematics by fostering student-centered instruction, implementing culturally relevant teaching strategies, and developing mathematical leaders.

Examples of Duties

The Central Office Resource Teacher duties for this department includes but not limited to:

Collaborating with other members of our TK-12 math leadership team and Instructional Departments

Developing and co-facilitating district-wide professional learning

Developing resources for educators and caregivers

Minimum Qualifications

Qualified applicants must have a valid California single-subject mathematics credential and/or multiple-subject mathematics credential.

Applicants' credentials must be attached to their application and registered with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing by the close of the posting. Applicants must have a valid California driver’s license and be prepared to conduct, participate in, and travel to sites, professional development sessions, workshops, and meetings.
