CIVIL ENGINEER – CIP $5,000 Hiring Incentive

SUMMARY
Incumbents perform plan design and review of projects that involve coordination among multiple departments or agencies. Incumbents develop solutions, interpret policies and procedures, and have the authority to approve and stamp engineering plans.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and two years of related civil engineering experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed in the job description. Additional education cannot be substituted for experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have at time of hire and be able to maintain a State of Arizona Professional Civil Engineer license (PE) or an equivalency through state reciprocity.SELECTION PROCESS
Applicants whose education, training and experience most closely meet the needs of the position may be invited to participate in a selection process to include a panel interview.
