The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance of our fire truck manufacturing facility in Dublin, Ohio. This role ensures the facility is kept at a high standard of cleanliness and professional presentation to drive the Sutphen experience.

Qualifications
Essential Job Functions
Reporting security, surveillance, and safety issues to management
Arrange PM checks on HVAC, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems with contractors as required
Testing and recommending new maintenance products.
Coordinating deliveries from vendors and suppliers
Keeping documents of inspections and problems with resolutions
Doing minor landscaping and snow removal.
Working with vendors for pest control, janitorial, and other facility needs
Prioritize and track facility trouble tickets through Safety Culture.
Work with management to complete project planning and execution
Ability to use basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, custodial hand, and electric powered tools.
Good verbal and written communication skills, with ability to receive and respond to work assignments in both formats.
Strong command of the English language both spoken and written.
Read, comprehend, and work from plans and operating instructions.
Follow oral and written instructions; maintain cooperative working relationships; demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse population.
Detail orientation with a mindset towards maintaining Sutphen standards.
Demonstrated time management skills and including multi-tasking.
Accountable to deadlines.
Keep computerized records and prepare reports. Access and employ job related computer software (email, work planning, timekeeping) at an effective proficiency level.
