PrimaryOne Health is currently seeking Physician Assistants for our Columbus health centers.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, performing physical examinations, ordering tests, determining a diagnosis, and developing a treatment plan for the patients.
Monitor patient’s health during follow-up visits and adjust the treatment plan as necessary.
Supports health promotion, health education, health empowerment and disease prevention interventions for all patients.
Orders appropriate screening and diagnostic lab and radiographic exams.
Interprets results of physical exams and screening/diagnostic tests to implement appropriate care plans for the patient.
Prescribes medicines, therapeutic agents and treatment modalities as required by patient needs and in accordance with licensed prescriptive authority.
Operates within a scope of practice as agreed to by the FNP/PA, the supervising physician, the medical director and in compliance with Ohio state law.
Provide patients the best care possible in managing their illnesses or chronic health issues.
Other duties or special projects as assigned.
Successful candidates must possess a Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program; PANCE (Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination) certified through the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants) and a current Ohio License to practice as a physician assistant. 50RX – License to Practice and Prescriptive Authority combined. 1+ years of experience in a healthcare environment preferred
