Guidance Secretary - Senior High School - 12th Grade Center
This position will be located at our Senior High School working in the 12th Grade House Office for the 2025-2026 School Year. This position rotates to the 9th Grade Center and 10th-12th Grade Center with their respective grade.
Position Summary – To provide overall secretarial support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation required of the guidance office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs clerical duties such as: copying data, filing, answering telephones, providing information in accordance with district policies, and providing support for guidance department.
Interacts with students, staff, and parents; responds to routine inquiries and refers unusual or complex inquiries to appropriate person or department.
Makes changes in Skyward as needed.
Maintains student files including PSAT, SAT, PSSA, PASA, Keystone, and transcripts.
Maintain spreadsheet for graduation pathways for all students.
Follow up on residency issues.
Ensures coding is accurate for PIMS reporting and FINT codes
Enters credit information into Skyward for incoming students.
Works with registrar to complete new student registration.
Assist with tracking course selections.
Assist counselors in the administration of Keystone and PSAT’s exams.
Field requests for education verifications and provide copies of transcripts for graduates/former students.
Make announcements/call students on public address system multiple times each day.
Generate quarterly warning letters for students who are in jeopardy of failing a class.
Assist with issuing students work permits.
Plan and organize the Senior Academic Recognition Banquet and the Senior Impact Awards.
Performs any other job related duties/projects assigned by the House Principal/Principal. The position holder must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Start Date: August 1, 2025
Position Hours: 7 AM - 3 PM, Monday - Friday. 12 months (260-262 days)
Location: Senior High School
Compensation: $19.15/hour
