Volt is immediately hiring Injection Mold Operator in Chicopee, MA.
As an Injection Mold Operator, you will be responsible for: Duties and Responsibilities: Perform work in accordance with documented procedures in Traveler package.
Ensure product inspection criteria are observed and implemented throughout work shift.
Follow department work schedule such that machine coverage ensures continuity in production.
Follow department procedures related to dress code and proper handling of product.
Track production, scrap, downtime, and machine adjustments that have been performed.
Stop production and inform supervisor when product does not meet specifications.
Document production on forms provided to enable accountability.
Demonstrate care in the use of calibrated measuring instruments provided for the performance of job function.
Ensure proper function of all tools provided for the inspection and production of product.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Observe all safety requirements in the work area.
Follow good housekeeping practices in work area at all times.
Have knowledge of ISO procedures and Quality policy.
Control non conformances to prevent unintended shipment.
Ensure all product not meeting specifications are segregated and properly marked.
Skills: High School diploma or equivalent 1-3 years of relevant experience for entry to this level.
Demonstrated ability to follow documented procedures and processes Bilingual communications skills a plus This is a Full-Time, Contract opportunity.
Schedule: 1st Shift Duration: 12+ Months Location: Chicopee, MA Pay Rate: $16 to $18 per hour on W2.
