Job Title: Project Mgr I Location: Pittsburgh, PA Type: Contract Compensation: Contractor Work Model: Hybrid Hours: Add the job’s scheduled days and times (delete if not needed) Security Clearance: List security clearance requirements (delete if not needed) Summary: The main function is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.

Job Responsibilities: • Develop integrated baseline project plans applying estimating models, identify resources and skills required, document estimating assumptions, refine plans and manage performance against them.

• Recommend best solutions based on understanding of business issues.

• Provide task-based schedule and cost forecasts and assist in assessing risk-based provisions.

• Capture and track program metrics and perform analysis.

• Manage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk.

• Manage client expectations, anticipates operational and tactical risks and tracks them.

• Clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues, remove barriers, resolve minor project issues and escalate to immediate manager where required.

• Manage project closure initiatives, such as client satisfaction survey and closure analysis.

• Document and archive project activities, deliverables, tools and findings for future projects Skills: • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

• Basic ability to work independently and manage ones time.

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.

• Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

• Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.

• Basic knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc.

Education/Experience: • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required or equivalent work experience.

• PMI or PMP certification preferred.

• 0-3 years experience required.

Comments Position Title: IT - Project Mgr I - Contractor Position Location: Pittsburgh, PA Ability to work remote: Yes, 3 days in office, 2 remote Travel: Not expected *If candidate located outside of Pittsburgh, possibly once a quarter Days of the Week: M-F 40 hours Working Hours (Flexible): M-F 8-5 EST Acceptable time zone(s): EST OT: No Intended Length of Assignment: 6-7 months Potential for Contract Extension: Yes Function of the group: Knowledge Graphs Neo 4J and elastic search are two new relatively crews that were standing up.

These are two low volume crews that are independent based Current initiatives/project(s) that this resource will be impacting:The PMI will take on the work related to Knowledge Graphs (Neo4J) and ElasticSearch Industry background: Technology and banking preferred Team dynamic: Crews of 7-10 contractors, mainly software engineers Roles and Responsibilities: Data management and entry.
