Responsible for directing and managing KHAFRA’s overall financial functions.
Oversees all financial functions including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury.
Designs and coordinates a wide variety of accounting and statistical data and reports.
Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 12-15 years of direct experience in the field.
Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Performs a variety of tasks.
Leads and directs the work of others.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Reports to CEO and other Partners.
Responsibilities: Preparation of financial statements, annual budgets, staff utilization reports and monthly in-house reports for Principals (marketing, training, indirect costs etc.) Month end closing Prepare Quarterly tax calculations (federal and state) annual tax planning and strategies Supervise accounting staff and oversee daily AP, AR functions, cash management, collections and invoicing Manage all payroll activities and transactions for approximately 130 employees Manage annual audit including preparation of all schedules, records and reports required to assist independent auditors in the preparation of the annual audited financial statements Manage corporate accounts and cash expenditures and cash flow Maintain/update accounting department policies and procedures Comply with all state and federal reporting obligations, including payroll and property tax Required Experience: Bachelor degree in accounting or business related field 12 to 15 years extensive accounting management background as a controller or manager Must have strong communication and professional business skills with the ability to interact with employees, management and partners of the firm Strong organizational, oral and written skills with solid analytical and technical skills are a must Must possess good oral and written communication skills.
Must be a problem solver, have the ability to work independently with minimum supervision as well as part of a team.
Must be self-motivated and have a willingness to learn.
Must be proficient in Axium Software, as well as Microsoft office suite Preferred Experience: Masters degree in accounting or business related field CPA, Certified Public Accountant Experience working in the Engineering/Architecture consulting field.
