TCI has an immediate need for a Business Analyst in Frankfort, KY.

This is a long-term contract opportunity with probable extensions.

This is not a C2C opportunity.

Candidate must reside in Kentucky and have the ability to work a hybrid schedule including 3 days on-site and 2 days local remote.

THIS IS NOT A 100% REMOTE OPPORTUNITY.

PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION REQUIRES US CITIZENSHIP OR PERMANENT RESIDENCE.

SUMMARY The Business Analyst will work a hybrid onsite/remote work schedule in Frankfort, KY.

The selected candidate will work closely with the other Analysts to implement new system enhancements/functionality and/or new systems.

The Business Analyst RESPONSIBILITIES Work under deadlines, must be capable of handling a large workload, and must be able to work independently while being part of a team with only general direction.

Responsible for researching potential system issues (for cause and resolution), providing customer service, and seeing enhancement projects through to completion.

Participating in system research and testing, preparing, and reviewing project documents and deliverables as necessary, etc.

Working with the project team and/or vendor to assist with gathering and finalizing business requirements.

Change Request review and monitoring through the SDLC.

Joint Application Design meeting attendance/monitoring/or facilitation.

Review of Detail Design Documentation (DDD) and/or writing User Requirements Documentation (URD). Participate in division initiative discussions.

Transition planning and monitoring.

Project Management tasks to take lead in initial design work with vendor or OATS developers and Business partners.

REQUIREMENTS A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of recent, relevant work experience.

3-5 years working in a Business Analyst position.

Must have Business Analysis skills including knowledge of gathering and documenting requirements, documenting system enhancements and changes, and the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Prior experience determining eligibility or supporting one or more of the following programs: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance (SNAP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP), Medicaid (MA) – both MAGI and Non-MAGI, as well as Qualified Health Plans (QHP) – both with and without an Advanced Premium Tax Credit or Cost Share Reduction is a plus but not required.

Experience in Microsoft products, Team Foundation Server (TFS), SQL Server Management Studio is preferred but not required.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

A strong understanding of SDLC methodology.

Relationship management and facilitation skills.

Strong decision-making ability.

Testing experience preferred but not required.

SQL: 1 year (Preferred) Not Required.
