Business Systems Analyst

TCI has an immediate need for an IT Business Analyst in Findlay, OH or San Antonio, TX.

This is a long-term contract opportunity with probable extensions.

This is not a C2C opportunity.

SUMMARY The IT Business Systems Analyst is part of an Agile Terminal Operations IT product team to support the Digital Transformation efforts around Customer Experience (CX). This role is focused on expediting Digital Transformation efforts around the Customer Experience program, aimed at reducing friction in between two operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with the Product Owner to define and prioritize user stories and acceptance criteria.

Facilitate dialogue between stakeholders and the development team to ensure clear understanding of business requirements.

Conduct requirement gathering sessions using various techniques such as interviews, workshops, and surveys.

Analyze and document business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.

Lead formal Change Management processes to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new systems and processes.

Support the Product Owner in managing the product backlog, ensuring it is well-groomed and prioritized.

Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Assist in the development and execution of test plans, ensuring that all requirements are met.

Provide ongoing support and training to end-users, ensuring successful adoption of new systems and processes.

Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of solutions.

Continuously seek feedback from stakeholders and end-users to improve the quality and effectiveness of the delivered solutions.

REQUIREMENTS 4+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst supporting software applications.

Knowledge and experience with SDLC, Business Analysis, Agile methodology, requirements gathering, continuous improvement mindset and quality assurance.

Strong experience with SQL and SQL databases.

Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.

Problem solving, critical thinking and ability to quickly learn new business processes and systems.

PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED) Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) application support Guidant FuelFACS TMS Experience Experience in Oil & Gas industry.
