Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Manager with expertise in QuickBooks, preferably QuickBooks Enterprise, to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team that is quoting, purchasing, and receiving IT equipment and services for clients, maintaining accurate financial records using QuickBooks, and record-keeping in Excel. This role requires an understanding of procurement principles, understanding of information technologies and systems, exceptional organizational skills, and proven experience leading a team.

Job Information

This will be a full-time position (40hr per week) located in Rogers, AR. The pay range listed above will be based on previous experience and education.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Quoting, Procurement, and Receiving

Handle regular daily requests & approvals for equipment & licensing for clients, and the resulting receiving as needed

Manage the team responsible for these activities to make sure they are accurate & timely

Manage internal weekly meeting reviewing project-level quotes

“Supply Chain” type activities

Maintain positive supplier/vendor relationships

Conduct annual inventory audits for the finance team

Help evaluate and maintain inventory levels of necessary equipment for Apprentice employees

Team Lead

Provide supervision, training, and support to the procurement team

Work with the associate director of procurement to understand company direction and how the procurement team will help drive that forward

Job Location

Located in Rogers, AR; Remote/hybrid work is not an option

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Minimum Qualifications:

• Understanding of supply chain management concepts.

• Negotiation skills and the ability to make sound decisions quickly.

• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.

• Strong organization and time management skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of IT hardware, software, and services

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Procurement Manager, preferably in the IT field.

• Experience with a managed services provider company.

• Certification in procurement or supply chain management.

Preferred Experience:

Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement, with at least 2 years in the IT field.

Demonstrated experience in managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.

Proven track record of developing and implementing successful procurement strategies.

Minimum of 3 years of experience leading a team.

Required Technical Skills:

QuickBooks (preference given to QuickBooks Enterprise)

Microsoft Outlook for email and calendar

Preferred Technical Skills:

Ability to write formulas and work with PivotTables in Excel

Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI
