Desired Qualifications:

The Structural Designer 1

· Position requires 0-5 years heavy industrial/power plant experience.

The Structural Designer 2

· Position requires 5-7 years heavy industrial/power plant experience.

The Structural Designer 3

· Position requires 7-10 years heavy industrial/power plant experience.

Job Responsibilities:

· Producing design drawings for structural steel, reinforced concrete, preparing layouts and conceptual designs, and preparing fabrication drawings.

· Skillsets and expertise required for this position include being proficient using AutoCAD, extensive 3D modeling experience is a plus, steel/concrete detailing, and the ability to build effective relationship with design engineering staff and/or vendors.

· Individual must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, AL.

· Able to work 1 to 2 weeks in the office at the beginning and can then work remotely after learning what we do.Company Description
