The position
As a Senior Digital Hardware Engineer at agap2, you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects over the years, based on your experience and interests. Projects within industries such as Banking, Fintech, Telco, Retail, Sports, and Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
Your main responsibility will be the validation of electronic functions implemented in digital and analog (LF) circuits realized on PCBs. This involves close collaboration with colleagues from power electronics, FPGA, software, PCB layout, and system integration disciplines.
Validating prototypes in a lab environment
Integrating hardware into a complex HW/SW radar platform
Adapting the hardware design for pilot-level deployment
Revalidating the system for final product release
Hands-on validation and debugging of legacy digital hardware systems (early 2000s tech base)
Ensuring functionality of systems using older communication protocols (e.g., PCI)
Supporting PCB layout and hardware design improvements
Performing simulations and system-level analysis using tools like ANSYS
Participating in I/O generation and power design tasks
Collaborating across disciplines in an agile, high-security environment

What you bring to the position
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering with a specialization in digital hardware
Strong experience with schematic entry tools (Cadence)
Proficiency with simulation and analysis tools: Ansys, Windchill, PSpice
Programming experience in: C, Python, Bash
Experience supporting PCB layout processes
Creative, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Fluent in English
Dutch nationality is strictly required – this is a "Dutch Eyes Only" project
Eligible and willing to work on classified defense projects
On-site presence is mandatory – remote work is not possible
