Job Description

Overview Of Role:

The Line Cook will be responsible for setting up the prep station, stocking inventory, and maintaining sanitation standards. May be expected to work weekends and holidays. Part-time and Full-Time positions are available.

$16 hourlyResponsibilities:

Prepare the basic components of each dish on our menu

Memorize and utilize our serving portion sizes and all basic meal prep procedures

Ensure that the kitchen, food prep areas, and food storage areas meet cleaning standards

Work with a team of cooks to do portion prep work for other shifts when needed

Monitor product freshness and rotate out old products based on the restaurant's schedule

Run a Char Grill and check temperatures on steaks

Other duties as assigned by managementQualifications:

High level of professionalism

Excellent verbal communication skills

Strong teamwork skills

Customer service ensures every guest has an outstanding experience

Education And Experience Required:

A minimum of one (1) year of à la carte, line cooking experience in a high-volume environment is required

A high school diploma or GED is preferred

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift at least twenty-five (25) pounds

Ability to perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting, and grasping
