The focus of this position is to ensure that our organization's needs related to our valuable asset, our employees, are met on an ongoing basis. Working in conjunction with the Chief Operations Officer as well as our partner organization's Human Resources' team, this position will work to augment and carry out the strategic goals and operating objections of the Company from a hiring perspective. Duties and responsibilities will include:
Assisting in preparation of Human Resource related budgets and strategic plans
Manage recruitment of non-licensed staff positions to fill new and vacant positions including posting, resume review, interviewing for best fit, and creating offers when the right candidates are identified.
Manage onboarding process for new hires, including completing required paperwork in a timely manner, notifying the necessary staff to ensure a coordinated effort for welcoming and training, as well as introducing the culture of Rehab Associates to all new hires
Effectively communicate employee benefits programs to new and existing employees
Assist EVP of Recruitment and Retention with onboarding of licensed staff as well as retention activities as needed
Maintain current knowledge of state and federal HR legislation and regulationsQualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or similar field, or working towards such degree; or relevant experience in HR
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex oral and written instructions
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including details, deliverables and deadlines, with minimal supervision.
Ability to resolve problems, complaints, and conflicts tactfully and professionally
Ability to compile and analyze facts and specifications and to make sound decisions
Demonstrated history of proactive and continuous learning, improvement, and innovation.
Beneficial to have working knowledge of:
employee recruitment, selection processes, and interview techniques
state and federal laws governing human resources administration to ensure regulatory requirements
strategies to improve and maintain strong employee relations, retention, engagement, and performance management
