The Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County is hiring a dedicated and dynamic ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Instructor to teach adult English language learners (ELL).

Join our mission to promote literacy, support lifelong learning, and improve lives through education and empowerment.Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, student-centered ESOL and basic literacy instruction to adult learners

Create and implement lesson plans tailored to beginning English proficiency levels

Assess student progress through testing and performance evaluation

Maintain accurate student records and data tracking

Support student use of educational computer-based learning programs

Foster an inclusive, supportive, and respectful multicultural classroom environment

Collaborate with team members to support program success

Uphold the Literacy Coalition's educational goals and community impact objectivesQualifications:

Bachelor's degree required

Experience in adult education, ESOL instruction, or literacy programs strongly preferred

Comfort working with learners from diverse cultural, ethnic, and linguistic backgrounds

Intermediate computer skills and familiarity with digital learning platforms

Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills

A genuine commitment to supporting undereducated adults and immigrant families
