Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the HR department in various administrative functions, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of general ledger accounting, benefits administration, and have experience with HR software systems such as Kronos.
Responsibilities
Manage employee records and ensure data integrity within the HR information system.
Assist in benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
Perform general ledger reconciliation and maintain accurate financial records.
Support accounts receivable processes by tracking payments and managing invoices.
Handle double entry bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards.
Process payroll-related information and maintain accurate timekeeping records.
Provide clerical support for HR initiatives, including recruitment, onboarding, and training programs.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
Qualifications
Proven experience in human resources or related administrative roles.
Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles and practices.
Familiarity with governmental accounting regulations is a plus.
Proficiency in benefits administration processes.
Experience with Kronos or similar timekeeping systems is preferred.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software applications.
