TITLE: Marketing & Communications Coordinator

POSITION STATUS: Part-Time

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

LOCATION: Indianapolis, Indiana

REPORTS TO: Director of Development

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (flexible, 2025 hours/week)

WHO WE ARE:

Founded in 1992 as the charitable arm of the USTA/Midwest section, the USTA/Midwest Tennis & Education Foundation (MTEF) has been supporting communities, programs and individuals to provide greater educational opportunities for youth. The Foundation places emphasis on programs and activities that provide youth with a positive, fun and disciplined environment to learn the game of tennis and create alternatives to negative recreation. It also assists young players who have demonstrated talent, and are in need of financial support to compete at higher levels.

As a Marketing and Communications Coordinator, youll be an essential part of providing support in executing creative campaigns, managing day-to-day marketing activities, and helping to increase brand visibility. From supporting content creation to managing social media platforms, you'll gain valuable experience across a variety of marketing and communication functions. This role offers the perfect opportunity for a motivated individual to develop hands-on skills in digital marketing and brand development while working in a collaborative environment.

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON:

Assist with the creation of marketing materials for the USTA/Midwest Tennis & Education Foundation, including flyers, social media posts, and digital content

Support the Director of Development and Grant Acquisition Coordinator in planning, scheduling, and executing marketing and fundraising campaigns

Collaborate on branding and creative projects to enhance visibility and community engagement

Contribute to administrative tasks such as preparing tax letters, maintaining records, processing invoices, and general correspondence

Participate in team meetings and brainstorms, offering new ideas and creative input

Assist in developing and launching a social media content calendar for the Foundation

Help create new donor and community engagement materials

Contribute to the planning and promotion of upcoming fundraising events

Various other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing trends required

Strong written and verbal communication skills required

Detail-oriented and well-organized with the ability to multitask required

Ability to maintain and protect confidential information and data required

Interest in nonprofit development, fundraising, or marketing preferred

Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools preferred

Experience in nonprofit, marketing, or communications environments preferred
