Independent Contractor Driver/Dispatch & Warehouse Support Position

Dash Courier & Logistics Services is seeking an Independent Contractor Driver to join our team. This unique position combines driving responsibilities with assisting in daily warehouse operations and dispatch- ideal for someone looking for variety and challenge in their workday. Pay for this position is $125 per day.What We Offer:

Days: Monday through Friday

Hours: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PMRegular Work Schedule:

Days: Thursday through Sunday

Hours: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PMKey Responsibilities:

Timely and professional delivery services in line with Dash Courier's standards.

Assisting with day-to-day warehouse operations, including inventory management and order preparation, pulling phones in the warehouse for our customer, Asurion.

Supporting dispatch operations, including order entry and customer service duties.Preferred Qualifications:

Experience driving for logistics or courier services.

Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Proficiency with computers and office-related software.

Previous experience in warehouse operations or dispatch duties is a plus.Ideal Candidate Traits:

Experience/Requirements:

Valid Driver's License (Required)

Social Security Card or Proof of Citizenship (Required)

Current up-to-date Vehicle Registration for the vehicle you will be driving (Required)

Current Vehicle Insurance Declaration Page showing Minimum Auto Policy Liability Limits of $100K/$300K/$50K per accident (Required)

Newer smartphone with GPS capability (Required)

Must have a good MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) and pass a background check performed by a third party (Required)

Experience in same-day, local, and long-distance delivery (Preferred)

Applicants must be 21 years of age to qualify.

Individuals with diverse life/work experiences - including actual courier experience, patient services, commercial/industrial, airport recovery/tendering - are preferred. Individuals should have a professional appearance and attitude. Perfect for retirees and those re-entering the workforce.

Job Type: Contract

We are a fast-paced, growing company, and our business needs can change quickly. As an independent contractor, you will be expected to be flexible and willing to adjust your schedule to meet the needs of the business. This may include working different shifts, or working on holidays.

If you are not able to be flexible with your schedule, this may not be the right role for you.

Preferred candidates should be flexible, adjust to various responsibilities, able to multitask, and work under pressure:

Some experience with Logistics Scheduling/Coordinating, Customer Service, and taking the "lead by example" approach with progressive responsibility or in a Lead position. (Preferred)

Some experience with entering orders from phone, email, and seeking out the details. (Preferred)

Proficient with computers and office-related software. (Required)

Previous Dispatching and Logistics experience. (Preferred)

Knowledge of the geographic area.

Communicate regularly with independent contractors & customers and develop a good rapport with drivers.

Able to take directions, follow instructions, and have good communication skills - using phone, email, and order event notations.

Possess good decision-making skills.

Applicants must have their own reliable transportation to get to the office daily.
