**Day Shift (Weekdays & Weekends) **
Knightstown, INKey Responsibilities:
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machine setup and production specifications.
Set up press brake machines by installing and aligning dies, punches, and back gauges.
Operate press brake machinery to perform bending and forming operations on metal sheets and components.
Perform quality checks using measuring tools (calipers, protractors, tape measures, etc.) to ensure parts meet specifications.
Make adjustments to machine settings to maintain tolerances and quality throughout production runs.
Maintain equipment by performing routine preventive maintenance and reporting any mechanical issues.
Monitor inventory of raw materials and tools, and report shortages to supervisors.
Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality control personnel to ensure production goals are met.Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training is a plus.
2+ years of experience operating press brake machines, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Strong knowledge of metal types, thicknesses, and forming characteristics.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
