Job Summary:
This position is responsible for keeping track of materials and tools signed out to Building Authority associates. Obtain best price and availability for parts and tools on requisitions, alterations, work orders, and inventory. Maintain inventory stock levels. Ship and receive deliveries for the Building Authority. Assist other trades when necessary.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for locating best price and availability on tools and material for alternations, work orders, requisitions, and inventory
Keep track of all tools and material checked out and returned by associates.
Order and maintain inventory stock levels
Enter data for requisitions, work orders, alterations and estimates
Add to and update vendor listings
Check delivered items against purchase orders
Receive shipments and close out purchase orders
Expedite purchase orders
Arrange “Will Call” pick-ups with Vendors
Arrange for parts pick-ups
Purge and make folders for closed out purchase orders, work orders, estimates, alterations, etc.
Check tools and equipment for repairs or safety issues
Engrave or stencil all tools and equipment
Make folders on all new equipment and tools and log them in equipment file
Shipping and receiving as needed
Request and log Safety Data Sheets for chemicals
Label all chemicals in tool crib and shops with HMIS labels
Keep area clean, organized, and free of safety violations
Obtain Building Authority uniforms for Associates, as needed
Operates forklift truck when necessary.
Assist building Security with tenant car problems in the parking garage
Perform all other duties as assigned
Equipment used:
Storeroom Attendant are expected to be familiar with various tools and equipment including but not limited to Two-Wheel Dollies, Pallet Jacks, Forklift/Stacker, Fax Machine, Copier/Scanner, AMMS Custom Maintenance Management Software, Printers, Basic Computer Programs, and Two-Way Radio.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License
2-3 years previous Inventory Experience
Knowledgeable; Maintenance Tools and Materials
Computer literate; previous experience entering purchase orders
Forklift Certification
